SuperEnduro Riesa 2025, back in the arena

So here we are a year later back in the German cauldron, a hall and a club that are used to hosting the enduro world championship, this is the 11th time they have been the organizers!

The course is beautiful with obstacles typical of this German arena, logs, scree slopes, a sand bend and of course the famous footbridge.

It must not have escaped your notice that Starks are allowed to race with thermal engines this year and so the regulations are evolving in this direction. With in particular a new procedure for evacuating vehicles in the event of battery damage, among other things.

Our good old track marshals will therefore be entitled to training at each stage this year to prevent the new risks linked to this new type of vehicle; here are some extracts.

Obviously everything is done to prevent risks in the event of an accident, 2 FIM experts who have worked in Formula E are present to validate the processes put in place.

Coming back to this German round, here the stadium doors are opened as soon as the tests and the stands are always full and support Tim Apolle and Manuel Lettenbichler as best they can.

It's always hot inside because outside in this countryside, 2 hours south of Berlin, it's freezing.

With Mani's withdrawal, it was Tim Apolle who provided the GoPro lap to inaugurate the new route.

Here are the images:

This track is not easy to tackle, it is technical and especially the sequence of trunks which form a 'RIESA' on the ground to then continue with two scree slopes in bends followed by the straight line with the staggered trunks which form a beautiful series of doubles.

Tomorrow we have a few interviews on the program, notably with the only American present at the championship but also with the only Frenchman, a certain mechanic from Reunion Island.

Follow us on social networks, we also invite you to subscribe to RP Mag, it's free, it costs nothing, it makes us happy and we hope you do too!
